Founded in Malindi and now entering its eighth edition, Coastal Fashion Brunch is a travelling fashion and lifestyle experience celebrating summer style, culture and connection along the Kenyan coast.
What began as Billionaire Fashion Brunch at Billionaire Resort & Retreat has evolved into a platform that brings together fashion, hospitality, dining and community through carefully curated experiences in exceptional destinations.
Each edition showcases summer-wear and destination inspired fashion while creating meaningful opportunities for designers, brands, travellers, residents and hospitality partners to connect.
Coastal Fashion Brunch celebrates the people, places and creative energy that make the Kenyan coast one of Africa’s most distinctive destinations.

MEET THE FOUNDER AND THE PURPOSE
With over 10 years of experience across travel, hospitality, fashion, events and sustainability, Belinda Atieno founded Coastal Fashion Brunch to celebrate the unique spirit of the Kenyan coast while creating meaningful connections between people, culture and business.
Having worked extensively with international travellers, hotel guests, local communities and creative entrepreneurs, she recognised a gap. While the Malindi attracted visitors from around the world, there were few spaces where long term residents, short term visitors, international tourists and local creatives could connect in an authentic and mutually beneficial way.
Coastal Fashion Brunch was created to bridge that gap.
What began as BILLIONAIRE FASHION BRUNCH quickly evolved into a platform that showcases the elegance, creativity and cultural richness of coastal life. Through runway presentations, dining experiences and networking opportunities, the event highlights a side of MALINDI and coast in general that is often overlooked: its thriving creative community, talented designers, entrepreneurs, artisans and cultural storytellers.
At its heart, Coastal Fashion Brunch creates opportunities for visitors and hotel guests to discover summer collection, build genuine relationships and experience the destination beyond traditional tourism. It offers designers and creatives access to new audiences while encouraging a deeper appreciation for the people, culture and craftsmanship that make the coast unique.
